Kane county chiefs of police association
“DEDICATED TO THE ENHANCEMENT OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM”
The Kane County Chiefs of Police Association is a professional organization comprised of the Sheriff, municipal Chiefs, State Police commanders, the State's Attorney's office, and other senior executives of each Kane County law enforcement agency.
The membership supports the mission of law enforcement. The Kane County Chiefs conduct one large fund raising event annually – the Kane County Chief’s Golf Outing. During this event, we hope to raise enough funds to continue to operate the following Kane County law enforcement programs:
The Kane County Major Crimes Task Force
The Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team
The Kane County Honor Guard
Each of these support services is available to every police department in the county on a 24 hour/seven days per week basis. In other words, supporting the Kane County Chiefs of Police Association with a monetary tax deductible donation continues to provide highly trained, technically proficient tactical officers and special equipment to each of our communities; which otherwise are not affordable to a single community or Police Department.
The Kane County Chiefs of Police was incorporated April 29, 1992.
